[01] Sky view factor calculator based on fisheye images
This repository assists in calculating view factors from fisheye images. It offers an alternative to using the Rayman software. Currently, it contains three functions, supporting calculating SVF following Rayman algorithm and the algorithm by Johnson and Watson (1984).
This implementation was first used in this publication, calculating SVF profile from panoramic videos.
[02] PhenoMap: A teaching tool to generate a pheno-calendar with students
PhenoMap is an educational web app for recording plant phenophases in the field — photos, locations, and repeat visits over time — and building a personal pheno-calendar. It is designed for planting-design courses to help students learn plants through observation, and is cross-platform: installable on iOS, Android, and PC.
This tool grew out of my undergraduate research project on phenological changes of landscape plants in Beijing.
